Wayne Routledge bounced between Crystal Palace, Tottenham, Fulham, Aston Villa and Newcastle United in the first half of his career before finally settling at Swansea City, where he became a fixture on the wing for the best part of seven seasons. Nearly all of his 16 career goals and two-thirds of his 297 appearances came during that long, loyal spell in south Wales.
