Richard Wright was tipped as a future England number one after breaking through at Ipswich Town, and he won several caps before a big move to Arsenal in 2001 that never quite worked out. He found a more settled home at Everton, making 60 of his 111 total appearances there between 2002 and 2007, before later spells as a senior back-up at West Ham and Manchester City.
