Peter Beardsley was one of English football's most gifted forwards, closing out his career with a productive second spell at Newcastle United, 129 appearances and 46 goals, after a short stint at Everton and finishing at Bolton Wanderers. Capped 59 times by England, he'd already won league titles and an FA Cup at Liverpool before returning to St James' Park as a Geordie hero.
