Paul Dickov was a feisty Scottish striker best remembered for scoring one of the most famous goals in Football League history — a last-gasp equaliser for Manchester City in the 1999 Division One play-off final that helped keep the club in contention for promotion. He also won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup with Arsenal in 1994 and later scored 11 goals in 35 appearances for Leicester City in his best Premier League season.
