Attilio Lombardo was an experienced Italian winger best known for his spells with Sampdoria, but he had a memorable if brief season in the Premier League with Crystal Palace in 1997-98, scoring five goals in 24 appearances. He later went into management and coaching, and is currently assistant coach at Serie C side Sampdoria.
