Andy Carroll made his name at Newcastle United before a British transfer record move to Liverpool in January 2011, and later found his best form at West Ham United, where he spent the bulk of his career and scored 33 goals over several seasons. A powerful, old-fashioned target man and England international, he finished with 54 goals in 248 career appearances.
