Alex Song emerged from Arsenal's academy and became a fixture in the Gunners' midfield after loan spells at Charlton, his 2010-11 campaign yielding four goals in 31 games before a move to Barcelona in 2012. He represented Cameroon at two World Cups and made the Team of the Tournament at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations.
