Manuel Almunia will be remembered by Arsenal fans for coming on as a substitute goalkeeper in the 2006 Champions League final after Jens Lehmann's early red card, and he went on to become the club's first-choice keeper for several seasons afterwards. The Spaniard made 109 appearances for Arsenal between 2004 and 2012, before a brief spell at West Ham United ended his time in England.
