Lee Chung-yong was one of relatively few South Korean players to make an impact in the Premier League when he joined Bolton Wanderers in 2009, scoring seven goals in 67 appearances as a quick, direct winger. He later had a spell at Crystal Palace from 2014, adding a further 38 appearances, while remaining a regular for the South Korea national team throughout.
