Kanu was part of Arsenal's Invincibles squad of 2003-04 and famously came off the bench to score a second-half hat-trick in a stunning comeback win at Chelsea in 1999, one of the great forgotten moments of the Premier League era. He went on to have productive spells at West Bromwich Albion and Portsmouth, finishing with 54 goals in 273 appearances, and won Olympic gold with Nigeria in 1996.
