Francis Coquelin came through Arsenal's academy and, after loan spells away, returned to become an unexpected key figure in January 2015, his combative screening in front of the back four helping steady a struggling Arsène Wenger side. The Frenchman made 105 appearances for Arsenal across a decade at the club before later moving on to Valencia in Spain.
