Emmanuel Petit brought steel and range to Arsenal's midfield after arriving in 1997, helping the club to a Premier League and FA Cup double before a spell at Chelsea from 2001. The France international scored in the 1998 World Cup final and won Euro 2000, and remains one of the more decorated foreign midfielders to grace English football.
