Dave Beasant

Dave Beasant was already a folk hero by the time he arrived at Chelsea in 1992, having become the first goalkeeper to save a penalty and lift the trophy in the same FA Cup final, for Wimbledon in 1988. He went on to make his mark at Southampton across five seasons before later spells at Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham.
